Speaking to the Italian media Ferrari’s Sporting Director Jean Todt has given his seal of approval on the Ferrari test crew and in particular Luca Badoer. Badoer who has been involved with Ferrari since 1997 is well respected in all areas of the team for his hard work and dedication to making the Ferrari team a success. An unsung hero in many ways but Todt’s praise comes not long after praise for the test team from Michael Schumacher.

"Luca has always done a great job for Ferrari and he will stay with us for as long as he wants to drive a Ferrari. We are happy with him," said Todt. "Luca Badoer and Luciano Burti are doing an excellent job together."

Badoer meanwhile is not having much of a break despite the F1 testing ban as he was testing once more the Maserati Trofeo prototype at Mugello. Badoer covered 73 problem free laps.
