After having to
rebuild the teams test car following Kazuki Nakajima's accident the previous
day the AT&T Williams team would see the second day of testing further
hampered, this time by sever weather conditions. The teams test schedule was
put back further by rainstorms that would see the track wet all day.
Nico
Rosberg would take over from Nakajima and would complete forty five laps
finishing fifth fastest on the day, 1m:32.573. The team was working on their
preparations for the next race in Spain.
AT&T Williams Test Team Manager Dickie Stanford commented:
“It was very wet all day, we even had thunder and lightening at one point
which
obviously affected the number of laps we could complete today. Between the
rain storms, Nico concentrated on systems checks and set-up work all day in
preparation for the race.” |
