the efforts from all at the Williams team.
Robert Kubica:
Robert would be forced to change his chassis overnight after the team had
found damage to his original chassis as the team did their Friday night
preparations. This would not see Robert incur any penalty. With the start of
the session Robert would take to the track early running on medium tyres. He
would pit after a single installation lap. With just over forty minutes
remaining Robert would return for a soft tyre run. Robert would set a
1m:16.815 on his first timed lap. After a cool down lap Robert would improve

gap to his team-mate. Robert would pit after an eleven lap run. With twelve
minutes remaining Robert would return on a new set of soft tyres. Robert
would improve with a 1m:15.540 to move ahead of his team-mate. Robert would
pit after a three lap run ending his session.
George Russell:
George would follow his team-mate out also on the soft tyre. George's car
would also be running the updates that were seen on Friday. George was able
to set a 1m:16.515 to finish ahead of his team-mate. His next timed lap
would be a 1m:15.824 remaining in front of Robert. George would also pit
after an eleven lap run. George's car was now on its stands with the
mechanics hard at work on his car. The issue with his car was floor damage
which would see his session come to an early end. |
