September 11 2020

The opening Friday practice session for the 2020 Tuscany GP would see the Williams Racing drivers finish in 16th and 20th. George Russell would finish ahead of team-mate Nicholas Latifi. The session was for most part uneventful apart from a spin from Nicholas late in the session. It was very much the typical Williams Friday FP1 with soft tyre runs followed by split tyre evaluations of the medium and hard tyre.
