leading Nicholas. Again another uneventful session for the Williams Racing
team as they continued their preparations for qualifying and the race. It
was pretty much a standard looking Friday for the team. At this stage just
it is hard to assess their pace but Q2 is a realistic possibility.
George Russell:
George Russell would be first out in the second Friday session using the
medium tyre. He would set a 1m:20.538 to be ninth dropping to tenth. This
would become 14th one place ahead of his team-mate. George would pit after a
five lap run dropping to 15th. With just over forty minutes remaining George
would return on the soft tyre. A 1m:19.357 and he would be ninth, dropping
to eleventh. George would pit currently 12th dropping to 14th. With twenty
five minutes remaining George would return completing several runs through
the pit lane. With fifteen minutes remaining George would return to the
medium tyre. He would run through to the finish of the session completing
fifteen laps.
Nicholas Latifi:
Nicholas would follow his team-mate out in the session except using the hard
tyre. A 1m:21.111 from Nicholas would see him 12th then 15th. Nicholas would
pit also only doing a five lap run now 16th. Nicholas had been complaining
about traffic. Nicholas would return joining George on the soft tyre. A
1m:19.479 from Nicholas and he was now 12th and after a six lap run Nicholas
would pit currently 15th. Nicholas would also return but would make several
trips into and out of the pit lane. But Nicholas would switch to the hard
tyre for what would be further race preparations. He would complete fifteen
laps with the end of the session. |
