Wednesday and Thursday, 5th and 6th December: Nick Heidfeld and Robert Kubica will drive all day.

Friday, 7th December: Rober Kubica and Marko Asmer will drive all day.

It will be the debut in a F1 for Javi Villa, who finished 5th inthe GP2 championship and won 3 races in 2007, despite being the youngest driver in the field.

Marko Asmer has already driven for the BMW-Williams in 2003, and is well known to the BMW family.

After the announcement, Asmer told to Autosport.com:

"It's a privilege to get an opportunity to test with a top team and I want to thank Dr. Theissen and the team as I really appreciate it, Jerez is a new circuit for me but I've heard it's really fun to drive.

I've met some of the BMW Sauber team already and they are really thorough with preparations so I feel comfortable and ready. I can't wait to drive the F1 car and help with their programme."

* As soon as Villa talks to the press, we will publish his reactions too.
