The ex-Super Aguri star moves closer to full 2009 drive

Toro Rosso have confirmed that Takuma Sato will test for the squad again this month in Spain. Sato was left without a drive after his old Super Aguri team sadly left the sport in early 2008.

Takuma's manager has said it's a major step towards a full 2009 race seat with the Italian team after he impressed at an earlier test this winter. Red Bull have said that young Swiss driver Sebastien Buemi is highly likely to drive for STR in 2009 after a long wait for a Formula One drive.

The test will take place in Jerez, Spain from December 9th to the 11th. The STR driver line up for this test looks like this:

Dec 9th - Buemi, Bourdais

Dec 10th - Buemi, Sato, Bourdais(driver swap at lunch)

Dec 11th - Buemi, Sato

Great news, I can't wait to see Taku in a Toro Rosso in 2009!
