Toyota ace Ralf Schumacher has not given up on the possibilty of Toyota taking its maiden victory in 2007 despite the TF107's seeming lack of pace.
Team mate Jarno Trulli says that Toyota's performance at the season opener in Melbourne was better than expected but there is still a long way to go. Toyota qualified both cars in the top 10 in Australia and after a difficult winter period this plus getting two cars in the top come Sunday was a great achievement although below expectation of what Toyota want for the 2007 Season.
But Ralf's targets remain high: "I believe we will be able to win the first Grand Prix for Toyota in Formula One this year, even if we still have a long way to go,” Ralf said on PR Duties in India. ''We shouldn't forget that the distance to the top teams is still quite extensive." He continued.
