Confirmed: Brunner Out

A spokesman for Toyota Motorsport GmbH has confirmed Gustav Brunner's exit from the team. The spokesman explained that Brunner's role as chief designer had become 'obsolete' because of three separate parallel design groups.

Brunner joined Toyota in 2001 from Minardi. Now strong speculation indicates that Gustav Brunner will be heading back to the Faenza squad to work for Scuderia Toro Rosso.
