After a shorter than anticipated Monza run, Mark's hoping for better things in the first of the final four flyaways. He's a fan of the floodlights too...
“We’re hoping for a change in fortune in Singapore – the street circuits haven’t been a happy hunting ground for us so far this year. It’s certainly not going to be a piece of cake, but we’re doing our absolute utmost to get back towards the front again.
The night race was a big success last year and it’s a sensational event: the atmosphere is very good for spectators, drivers and photographers.
I’m looking forward to getting out there and getting into it – the Marina Bay Street Circuit is certainly challenging and it’s quite bumpy in places so the car is dancing around a bit. You have got to be on your game.
It’s under lights which is an element I enjoy. We’ll also have upgrades for this race - I think everyone will at this stage of the season.”
