Let's GO!
After the cold of winter, 20 engine tokens used, and 111 days since absolute lap time was priority this afternoons qualifying will finally reveal the true pecking order of the teams. Free practice for Australia was one to forget for Infiniti Red Bull Racing with Daniel managing just 9 laps on Friday and 10 today. Daniil faired 'somewhat' better with 19 for Friday and 6 for FP3 after a drivability issue with the Renault unit restricted running.
Whilst FP1 saw a time of 2/10th's off the best from 2014 the 2004 lap record of 1:24.125 by one M.Schumacher around the 5.303km cicuit looks safe for now. However with a bit extra hip room engineered into chassis tub by Mr.Newey and the subsequent 5mm lower body position for Daniel within the car beleive that no stone has been left untruned in the pursuit of pace.
It's time to race.
