Jaguar Racing have confirmed that Christian Klien and Townsend Bell will test with the outfit at the end of this month...............
Reuters and BBC Sport Online report that the test will take place at Valencia, November 25-27.
Jaguar spokesperson Nav Sidhu says that "This is going to be a 'talent test'.
"There are opportunities across the spectrum [for them] but until we test them it is impossible at this stage to make any type of prediction."
Klien finished second in the Euro f3 series this year ,won the prestigious Malboro Masters F3 event. He also has Red Bull Backing.
Bell meanwhile made his debut in F3000 this season, helping the Arden team clinch the title. He's a past winner of the Indy Lights Championship and he’s also raced in CART, where he had mixed results before being sacked by his team after some creative driving.
When asked about Justin Wilson, Sidhu added: "This leaves him in the same place that he has been all along.”
"He is in contention for the 2004 race seat on level terms with everyone else.
"We're not testing Justin, we know what he can do. This is not a shoot-out between Bell and Klien. Justin fits in, is well liked, has application and focus almost beyond reproach and he's performed very well."
Now it seems we have Justin Wilson, Townsend Bell, Christian Klien, Jos Verstappen, Alexander Wurz(probably the one to bet on), Jaques Villeneuve, Nick Heidfeld, Heinz Harold Frentzen and myself all hoping to get a drive at Jaguar next year.
