Oz: Scot happy at Scott's mistake!

David Coulthard has been awarded a point for eighth place in the Australian Grand Prix! Despite crossing the line in ninth position, the Scot was promoted to eighth after the stewards penalised Scott Speed.

In a post race interview, one of DC's first comments was that Scott Speed had overtaken him under yelllow flags which were produced as a result of Liuzzi's accident. The race stewards had also noticed this, and after checking the data, they hauled the American rookie into race control and told him he was no longer eighth.

The decision obviously came relatively late as Scott Speed did have time to change after the race join and the rest of the Toro Rosso squad for this premature celebration photo shoot!

Scott Speed was clearly not best pleased with the stewards decision to hand him a 25 second penalty which demoted him from the points. He allegedly took issue with DC's side of the story and verbally abused the lead driver of his sister team. I'm sure this didn't bother DC much, but it did earn Scott Speed a further $5,000 fine!

The marketing team at Red Bull are surely jumping for joy!
