Last week Toyota announced that 3 of it's young Japanese Protoges would test for Panasonic Toyota Racing. This weekend All three of them are in action at the prestigious Macau F3 GP.

And two of them are on the front row of the grid for the race. Kamui Kobasyashi of the ASM team and Kohei Hirate who drives for their arch rivals Manor Motorsport locked out the top 2 places. Toyota's other protogee Kazuki Nakajima, team mate to Hirate lines up Seventh. All three of them will be hoping to win the race which Toyota star Jarno Trulli has won previously.

Other big names in the race are F3 Euroseries Champion Paul Di Resta from Scotland in the ASM car will start in 5th place. BMW-Sauber F1 third driver Sebastian Vettel from Germany will be hoping to emulate recently retired fellow countryman Michael Schumacher who is another big name to have won this prestigious event. Vettel has been comapared to the 7 times F1 World Champion but will have a hard job to emulate him in this race. Vettel starts 9th in the Carlin Motorsport car. Adrian Sutil like Vettel was a third driver in Friday's practice sessions in 2006 for Midland F1 (or Sypker-MF1 whichever you prefer!) and he also won the Japanese F3 Championship this season. Vettel's fellow-German starts 14th in his Toyota powered TOM's Dallara. The other domestic F3 Champion on the grid is Britain's Mike Conway who wont he Lloyds' TSB British F3 Championship. Conway races for Kimi Raikkonen's Formula 3 team 'Double R' and will start in 11th place.

Good luck to Toyota's young Japanese stars for the race, you can gurantee you'll be hearing their names and others like Di Resta, Vettel, Conway, Sutil etc in the future!
