The third and final practice session before Qualifying for the 2007 Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest kicked off early Saturday morning and it was Brazilian Felipe Massa in the Ferrari who laid down the law and ended the session fastest on a time of 1.20.183.
The Toyota's are looking very good so far this weekend. Jarno Trulli and Ralf Schumacher right in the thick of the mid field battle. Jarno finished 7th on a 1.20.878 and Ralf just behind in 8th.
Reigning World Champion Fernando Alonso and team mate Lewis Hamilton finished in 2nd and third just behind Massa with BMW-Sauber driver breaking into the top 4 championship contenders finishing 4th on a 1.20.565 pushing Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen back to 5th on a 1.20.741. Nico Rosberg rounded out the top 6 in the Williams-Toyota.
With Jarno and Ralf 7th and 8th it was Red Bull Racing Aussi star Mark Webber and Austrian Alex Wurz in the second Williams to round out the top 10. Briton Anthony Davidson was an impressive 11th for Super Aguri just ahead of BMW-Sauber's Robert Kubica and Renault's Heikki Kovalainen in 12th and 13th who both set the same time; 1.21.666. Kubica set the time first thus getting the 12th place instead of Kovalainen.
Honda's struggle continued with Jenson Button only managing 18th and Rubens Barrichello 20th. They were split by German Rookie Sebastian Vettel in the Scuderia Toro Rosso, making his debut for the team this weekend.
The Spyker's as ever rounded out the field, with Adrian Sutil getting the better of new team mate Sakon Yamamoto, however the latter has managed to reduce the deficit in time to half a second which isn't bad at all.
