Jarno Trulli drove an excellent lap for Toyota today to gain 3rd on the grid to see him lined up behind a presumably light-fuelled Michael Schumacher. Ralf Schumacher drove a very brave lap, keeping the pedal to the metal during a slide out of the chicane.

Every fan would have had their fingers crossed for our very own qualifying specialist as Trulli nudged Raikkonen from the top spot by 0.052s. Jarno stayed in provisional pole position until Michael Schumacher drove a stormer of a lap, around only 0.2s off last year's pole time, to knock the Italian down the pecking order.

The only car separating the German from the feisty Italian is that of Juan Pablo Montoya. Montoya is sure to have a good fuel load in what is the best car on the field at presentand has a great shot at the win.

But the question on every Toyota fan's lips is 'can we get a podium tomorrow.' We hope so, but it's going to be a tough job with Jarno the meat in a McLaren sandwich, and Ralf stuck in the mud between the Iceman and World Championship leader Fernando Alonso.
