Brazil: Jarno Trulli to drop 10 places on the grid

Panasonic Toyota Racing driver Jarno Trulli will drop 10 places on the Brazilian Grand Prix grid after it was confirmed the team changed his engine before the final Free Practice session. The Italian who normally starts within the first couple of rows, will almost for certain start from the back. This comes at a terrible time for the Toyota team, whose TF105 isn’t the fastest around Brazils Interlagos circuit. Jarno will either elect to not complete his Qualifying lap, or to set one of his blistering one off laps to enable him to start in the mid-field.

Toyota need to score as many points as possible during these last three races of this season, if they are to close on Ferrari for third place in the constructors’ championship.
