A minor alteration has occurred in the 2006 Formula One calendar. Using the same dates as planned, Japan and China have changed and we will now head to China seven days before Japan. Following the agreement of the two national sporting authorities, the FASC (Federation of Automobile Sports of the People’s Republic of China) and JAF (Japan Automobile Federation), and with the approval of the FIA World Motor Sport Council, the dates of the Chinese and Japanese Grands Prix have been swapped.
The new dates for the events will be as follows:
1 October, 2006 Grand Prix of China
8 October, 2006 Grand Prix of Japan
