After Kimi comes Michael Schumacher, so claims Weber. The 7 time world champion is 99% sure that Ferrari is where he'll remain, but that little 1% has left the door wide open, in the words of Michael Schumacher's manager, Weber, "there are always surprises".

It seems everyone wants to be linked to Toyota, as the driver market for 2007 continues. The Ferrari ace hasn't expressed an interest in driving for the Japanese team which is keen to boast its marketing agenda. German newspaper Bild claims that there is a possibility of an all Schumacher driver line up in 2007, with Toyota having no trouble at paying Michael's huge wages.

Michael's manager Weber explained: “He did that because, in F1, there are always surprises. Even though McLaren have signed Alonso for 2007, there is still a big player on the market.”

But if Ferrari's 2006 challenger fails to deliver, there is a possibility that Michael could switch teams; "We will see how the season starts,” Weber explained, “before making a decision in the summer.”

It seems 2006 is going to be the platform for 2007, with many of the key players yet to decide on where their bums will be placed the following year.
