Its official, Karl King has left TTF1 to run the McLaren site here on the sportnetwork, which means me (Nick Sparkes - a.k.a SPARKY) has been promoted to team manager. Karl earned the site a creditable reputation during 2005 as Toyota finally found its feet in F1. I must start by paying tribute to Karl for his efforts during 2005, during the short space of time we worked together I can tell you now the McLaren site is in extremely good hands.

For those of you who haven't heard of me before, my name's Nick Sparkes and I spent last year reporting for TotallyToyotaF1 under the name 'SPARKY'. I leant a lot from Karl last year so I know how to run a successful F1 site. Although my trademark does live in spelling mistakes I hope this will not become a frustrating factor for you or I when reading articles throughout this season. I aim to continue operating TTF1 in the same way Karl did, although there have been a few small changes.
