Toyota returned to the final week of testing today in Valencia, whilst McLaren and Kimi Raikkonen returned to the top of the time sheets. The day wasn't without its problems for Toyota, Ralf suffered electronic problems in the afternoon limiting his track time. Kimi Raikkonen restored McLaren to the top, after their weeks of engine problems it seems the team are now prepared to mount a title attack. Raikkonen lap broke the V8 lap record by almost half a second. Pedro de la Rosa made it a McLaren 1-2, but in the orange winter testing McLaren, running a limited V10.
Honda's Anthony Davidson was third, putting in the most laps with 142. David Coulthard showed some promise in the Ferrari powered Red Bull Racing, finishing ahead of the two Toyota's and the solo Williams.
Even with Ralf's electronic problem, he still finished ahead of teammate Jarno Trulli. Finally, Alex Wurz brought up the rear.
