Jarno Trulli seems to had turned into the new Johnny Herbert since the start of the 2006 season, with zero points and a couple of ninth finishes it seems Jarno can neither make or buy any luck in the competitive environment of Formula One. But Jarno and the team are keeping the faith. With rumours circling the paddock that Jarno will be replaced next season, John Howett has stepped in to give his support to the Italian. "I think Jarno's had a lot of really bad luck," Howett told Reuters. "He's having a rough year but I still think he's got the potential. He did a good lap with heavy fuel on Saturday so I'm sure he'll come back."

Jarno is keen to stick with the Toyota team in 2007, and even with his disappointing start to 2006, it will be remembered how consistent Jarno was during the early stages of last year. But at the end he was outscored on points by his teammate Ralf Schumacher, and out paced in almost every race by the German. But, as ever, Howett and Jarno are looking towards the next event. "He's motivated and we are too."
