Hungary: Button pushed back due to engine failure

Jenson Button's already difficult Hungarian Grand Prix weekend has been made worse, with the driver suffering an engine failure in practice, leaving him facing a 10 place grid penalty after this afternoons qualifying session. On just his third lap of the day, Jenson's Honda engine expired, leaving oil over the track and causing the practice session to be red flagged. Honda Racing F1 team mate Rubens Barrichello finished the session in fourth place, a good omen for the forthcoming qualifying session.

The one positive, if there is one, is that the failure occurred before the qualifying session, allowing the team the opportunity to adjust the strategy to compensate for the 10 place penalty.

Historically one of the more difficult races for drivers, the Hungarian Grand Prix could feel a lot longer than usual this weekend.
