Mercedes may choose to ditch passive double-DRS!!

Our team has lost the development edge with double DRS system. And now it seems that Mercedes is ready to move on. When asked about the benefits of the design, Brawn said: "It is quite acute, and quite difficult to provide an overall performance gain.

"Obviously having that sort of device in the middle of the rear wing means you lose some overall performance which you hope to get back with the benefits that come from the device, but at the moment it is pretty neutral to be honest.

"We will carry on with it, and it is not costing us much in terms of track time because we run it for a few laps to get the data on a Friday morning.

"Whether it will see the light of day in anger, I don't know."

Too many chiefs, not enough Indians!
Mercedes bought a world-class car in the Brawn, and have a good driver in Rosburg, but the 'chiefs' have been obsessed with the Silver Arrow concept with German pilots. Unfortunately, the double drs was not up to the job, like Schumi!!
You have to wonder why Hamilton is prepared to compromise his career is such a shambolic outfit.

Hamilton and turbo v6 engines 2014. Might be vice move to pair up with Mercedes.

About the chiefs, you might be right.
