"The German Grand Prix last year was one of the best races of my career," says Lucky Strike BAR Honda's Jenson Button. He returns there this weekend, put admits that repeating 2004's podium finish is unlikely. "To finish in second place last year having started from thirteenth was amazing," enthuses Jenson Button. "I have great memories from this race. There are some good overtaking opportunities which created an exciting race last year."

Jenson is under no illusions however, with the team recognising the fact that both McLaren and Renault have produced a faster car than BAR Honda.

"I think that we will face the same challenges that we experienced at the British GP," he adds. Jenson started the British Grand Prix in a strong second place, but was soon overhauled by the McLaren and Renault cars, finishing a distant fifth. Some comfort was taken from finishing a long way ahead of Ferrari in sixth.

"Having completed two days testing in Jerez where the car felt good," Button added, "I'm looking forward to the race and hope to be more competitive and have both cars finish strongly in the points."
