Turkey: I really enjoyed that!

BAR Honda's Jenson Button battled through the field, and through pain, to bring home another four points for the Brackley team as they prove that the pace is there to challenge Renault. "I really enjoyed that!" exclaimed Jenson.

"The first lap was a nightmare, I had a terrible start, dropping behind one of the Jordan's and Michael [Schumacher], but to work my way through the pack was very exciting."

Jenson started 13th on the grid following an off in qualifying, but fought through a crowded field to take fifth, overtaking reigning champion Michael Schumacher and championship leader Fernando Alonso on the way.

"It was such an exciting race for me, probably the best race this year," continued Button. "The result is a little disappointing in a way because we have had good pace all weekend, but we've just got to try not make the same mistake again. It has been a fantastic weekend for the team and it has shown that we are getting closer to the top two teams, so we are very excited about the next race in Monza."

Whilst he's keen not to let the qualifying mistake happen again, there's also another problem he hopes won't resurface.

"After about 15 laps my calf started hurting," explained Button. "It absolutely killed me for the rest of the race. You're hitting the brakes pretty hard in quite a few places so it does distract you quite a bit. Maybe that was why I was braking later and able to overtake people."

"It was worth it. Very exciting."
