Brazil: Anything can happen

BAR Honda's Jenson Button qualified in fourth place at Brazil, ready for a difficult race against the fast Renault and McLaren cars tomorrow. "I'm fourth, so it's not too bad," said Button immediately after his lap. "It's not a bad place to be with the strategy we have.

"I had to lift at turn 10, the quick left hander. That lost me a bit of time, but even so we wouldn't have been able to challenge the Renaults. I don't know what strategy they're on but they seem to be a lot quicker than they were in practice."

Jenson's straight line speed was also 10kph down on other cars, explained by a southerly wind surging along the main straight. However, a second row starting position bodes well for the race.

"A podium would be nice, but the Renaults and McLarens are very quick," explained Jenson. "I think Renault have made a good step forward with their aero package so we'll wait and see.

"Anything can happen."
