Honda Racing F1's Rubens Barrichello, a point-scorer last time out at the Nurburgring, admits there's still work to do on race pace, but is looking forward to Barcelona. "The Spanish Grand Prix is slightly unusual because we use the circuit so often for testing," says Rubens Barrichello, "so I think we will see that reflected in the performance of all the teams. It's a track I enjoy - although I do get to see rather a lot of it! - and I think we should do well there."

So far this year the team have completed close to 8,000kms around the circuit, so there's no excuses! Every team should be performing well and, reliability issues aside, it will be one of the clearest indicators of comparative performance of the year. In recent races, Honda have lacked some race pace, despite strong qualifying performances, something Rubens touches on.

"It was good to get some more points at the Nurburgring, although we lacked a little bit of pace," he explains. "We have to work to improve on this for the weekend."
