Interestingly we've not yet seen an official team preview issued by Spyker MF1, which is not surprise really as they have been concentrating on other areas over the last three weeks. F1Racin.net have manage to grab a couple of lines from Colin Kolles though.

F1Racing.net have managed to grab a comment from Colin Kolles and a further quote from Christijan Albers ahead of this weekends race. I wonder whether we'll see a lot more comment coming out of the team via this popular news website until Spyker decide what to do with their own web presence.

Personally I think it would be good for the team all round is they could put on a good competitive show this weekend. I know it would be a great boost for the fans to see this team do well, and perhaps add some meat to the entire Midland F1 purchase episode. The team appears to have had a good and productive test at Silverstone as has already been reported by us as witnesses at the test, and it would be encouraging to finally see some on-track 'fruit' as a result of all that hard work.

"Underneath the new team image is still the same commitment to being successful and underneath our new livery is a car with great potential," Kolles has been quoted as saying to F1Racing.net. "Both of our drivers have shown some excellent performances this year but I hope the extra lift we have all received recently will spur them on to achieving something special this weekend."

"So much has happened since the last race in Monza that we have arrived in China looking like the new team - Spyker MF1 Team," added Christijan Albers to the site.

"It is an exciting time for everybody; I hope that we can put on a good performance and show that we now have an even greater commitment to being competitive with our rivals. The car has improved all season but due to bad luck has missed some great opportunities to show its capabilities. That first point is out there somewhere and I hope that we can get it in the bag this weekend."
