Christian Klien and Tonio Liuzzi completed Force India's three day test at Barcelona on Thursday. On another fairly cold day at the Circuit de Catalunya, the team managed to move away from the last slots on the timesheets, with Klien's fastest time quicker than those posted by the two Hondas, the Austrian ending the day 15th.
Tonio's fastest time was just over a tenth slower than Klien's, landing him 17th. Behind him was the Honda of Mike Conway, the Aguri of Rossiter and the Red Bull of Doornbos.
On a day dominated by Ferrari's Felipe Massa, both drivers are extremely positive looking to the future with the belief the team has potential. Klien said, "There is still quite a lot to improve on this car and I am very optimistic."
Liuzzi added, "There is obviously work to do, but I am sure after some small changes the car can be way quicker and you can make a huge difference over the lap."
Testing continues on the 4th December at Jerez.
