Recently Dutchman Christijan Albers was confirmed as a race driver for Midland, and at a sponsors gathering the team chose to unveil it’s 2006 race livery. The occasion was also chosen to reveal a team name and logo.
Midland will be racing under the name of Midland F1 Racing, with it’s colour scheme on of silver, orange/red and white. The livery as unveiled by the team can be found at the current Midland F1 Racing website at www.midlandf1.com where the team logo can also be found.
The team officially takes to the track for the first time at Jerez on the 7th of December with test driver Nicky Pastorelli in the car.
Today also sees a sad moment when the Jordan name finally disappears from the sport. Midland have a rich past to build on, and one that the publishers of this site intend to recognise and remember.
