Once guest driver Max Biaggi had finished playing with the Midland 'toys', testing resumed at Silverstone with Christijan Albers talking excitedly about the progress the team is making.
On his own website Christijan said, "We're making great progress with this car."
"The set-up we found this morning was the best we had thus far, so I'm glad we're going forward this well all the time."
Unfortunately the weather was not kind to the team today, with sporadic light rain falling off and on all day. "Unfortunately we had some problems this afternoon and the weather wasn't helping much either. I'm glad that the car keeps improving all the time. Today, in the wet, my times were almost as good as at the damp track on Tuesday."
Midland continue their private test at Silverstone tomorrow with Tiago Monteiro at the wheel. The weather forecast for tomorrow is much the same as that predicted for Wednesday - high cloud and persistent rain.
