Force India head to Australia in a boyant and optomistic mood with new areo updates front and rear on the VJM03. Having proven competitivenes at the Bahrain Grand Prix, the team seak to improve upon their 9th and 12th place finishes at the last race weekend.

The team are taking three drivers with them to Melbourne.  Adrian Sutil and Tonio Liuzzi will be joined by Scotland's Paul di Resta who will take Adrian's drive during first practice at the Albert Park circuit.

Paul di Resta has only ever been an observer at Grand Prix before this weekend.  On Friday however he'll be preparing for his first full F1 session.  He's never been to Melbourne so he's spent a lot of time in meetings and will walk the track wih his engineers prior to the event.  His aim is to provide valuable information for the team's race plan rather than to set any particularly fast times but it would appear he's going to try!

As he's never been to the circuit before, he told the teams press office that he's been in the simulator trying to learn the layout (hopefully not just on a PS3!)

Albert Park is one of Adrian Sutil's favourite circuits on the calendar.  A challenging circuit with some fast corners and a lot of slow speed corners too.  It's where he made his race debut with Spyker in 2007 and where he finished just outside of the the points in last years race.

After the race in Bahrain he's looking to go one better and finish in the points, closer to the top four.  Adrian believes that as Bahrain was the first race of the season, with the new regulations, there were a lot of unknowns.  Drivers were perhaps being a little over cautious, hence producing a fairly processional race.  Now they know where the limit's are, they can start pushing the envelope and be a bit more aggressive.

Tonio's target this weekend is to get the car into Q3 and then into the point on race day.  Bouyed by the work that the team have done over the winter period.
