Barrichello comes second in Granja Viana 500

Honda Racing F1's Rubens Barrichello, and IRL competitors Dan Wheldon, Tony Kanaan and Felipe Giaffone finished second in this weekends Granja Viana 500 kart race.
The race was won by the MG Polipetro team, with Antonio Francesco Ventre, Jose Eduardo Ventre, Bruno Pacetti, Lucas Rodrigues and Otavio Bonder showing the stars the way.
Ferrari's Felipe Massa was also in the race, starting from pole position, but dropped out early on after crashing with another driver.
The 500 mile kart race, which has been running for ten years, took the winning team nearly 11 hours to complete. Barrichello and close friend Kanaan have won the event six of those times.
"I guess we will have to prepare a little better next year," Kanaan told the Associated Press. "These guys who won were better than us today and deserved the win."
