Hill: Button's a bit like Schumacher

Damon Hill thinks there could be a British world champion soon, and he's backing Honda Racing F1's Jenson Button to be the driver to take it. Speaking at the Autosport International show in Birmingham, Hill said that McLaren's new signing, Lewis Hamilton, could well get a win, but he reserved most praise for Honda's own Jenson Button.

"This year has to be the best chance we've had since I won the championship for there to be another British world champion," said Hill. "I have great faith in Jenson. I think he has a whole team around him so you can compare his position quite well to that of Michael Schumacher at Ferrari.

"He's got a very good chance of winning on a regular basis."

However, when asked where he'd put his money for 2007, he couldn't quite put Button as the title favourite. Like many others, Hill thinks it'll be Kimi Raikkonen taking the title in his Ferrari.
