It wasn't just Takuma Sato that attracted attention at this mornings driver announcement. Lucky Strike BAR Honda also unwittingly revealed a significant aerodynamic development of the BAR005, clearly demonstrating that BAR will fight to the wire for fifth place in the Constructors Championship. While Takuma Sato posed for the throng of photographers, eager to get the perfect shot for their editors, some eagle-eyed snappers trained their cameras on the car alongside.

And sitting proudly on top of the car was a new mid-mounted wing, sitting proud above the air box. Here's the picture (and no, we don't mean the silver camera housing)...

With Honda promising a more powerful, and hopefully more reliable, engine for Suzuka, and BAR continuing to develop the car, the final race of the 2003 season holds a lot of promise, and the potential for a lot of disappointment.
