Not Tom Chrest

After a hard fought year, the final results are in for the BAR-Talk.com Fantasy Formula One game. Undisputed leader from the opening round, the 'Deaf, Dumb and Blind' Grand Prix team takes the honours this season. The team, managed by Tom Chrest from Maryland, USA, was built up of a Renault powered Ferrari chassis, driven by Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello. Sitting on Bridgestone tyres, the combination proved unstoppable, with the team leading the championship from the very first race.

Chrest wins a handful of small motorsport items, including an exclusive sealed F1 Yearbook - this book was only ever handed to guests of the McLaren Autosport BRDC Awards - as well as a BAR 006 Launch Pack, some exclusive BAR badges, and an exclusive BAR poster, all delivered to his door in a Honda bag.

"I have to confess that I was pretty stoked all year long with the luck of my team leading the way," said Tom. "However, just like the real teams, the goal and the biggest thrill was winning the game.

"I have never participated in any Fantasy league in any sport and I was very excited to be able to join your great game," he added. "I want to thank you for all your hard work on putting together this Fantasy Championship and for all the hard work during the racing season to tally and post the results of every race."

This season was the inaugural competition and, while hugely successful, did throw up a number of internal problems that we will be solving, making it a faster, better, smoother experience for our players.

"I hope you run the game again next year," Tom closed with.

The game will return next year, bigger and better. We'll have some much larger prizes, and will introduce a whole new twist to the game. Most importantly, it will, of course, remain entirely free to enter.

We hope to see your entry.
