Jenson throws out a future at Ferrari

BAR Honda's Jenson Button has been (very loosely) linked with a future at Ferrari since his first podium finish last year, with even Ferrari technical chief Ross Brawn singing the praises of the youngster. However, one person seems adamant that his future is not at the Italian team, and that's Jenson Button himself.

Jenson, currently with no wins to his name, feels that Ferrari, who have secured 57 race wins since Jenson's arrival in F1, are past their best, and that BAR (or Williams?) are the place to be for the future.

Speaking to British tabloid the Daily Star, Jenson commented that he "can see a clear down-trend. It's not because of the new rules but just that Ferrari doesn't seem to have what they did in the past."

With the 2005 season just one race old, Ferrari have scored eight points while BAR remain on zero.
