BAR Honda's Jenson Button returns to Magny Cours this weekend intending to go at least two positions better than in the 2004 French Grand Prix. "I really enjoy racing in Magny Cours," says Button. "The circuit surface is smooth and very flowing - which is how I prefer it.

"We had a reasonable result there in 2004, when I finished in 5th position, and hopefully we will be more competitive there this year."

Last year's race saw Jenson in a five way fight for the final podium position, with Rubens Barrichello finally claiming the sport after overtaking Jarno Trulli on the very last corner. Jenson followed those two in fifth, ahead of Davis Coulthard and Kimi Raikkonen.

"We hope to be a lot closer to the McLarens and Renaults than we were in Indy," added Jenson. "We have had a positive test this week in Jerez, so I'm looking forward to the race."
