A lot of stories are circulating today that a deal between Midland and the M-Consortium was agreed and signed overnight, and that an announcement will be made today. As ever, in our aim to get you the most accurate information, we asked our trusted sources about this.

The stories circulating are very varied, but all center on the team being sold completely to the M-Consortium headed up by Michiel Mol. Grandprix.com believe that the deal is wrapped up in a Ferrari customer F1 engine deal with a connection to a new 4x4 model produced by Spyker cars, but we have not been able to secure any confirmation of this.
Pitpass.com have published a story stating that a statement will be released by Midland at 19:00 Italian local time today.
We have been able to secure confirmation that a statement will be released from all parties involved in this deal at 19:00 local time today, from our team source at the Italian Grand Prix venue. We have also been told that Midland F1 Online will be on the circulation list, so presumably we will be forwarded the statement at the same time as the worlds press.
