With a few days to go before the final race of the 2006 Formula One World Championship, speculation suggests that Spyker are looking to give prospective team mates for Christijan Albers a shootout for the seat over the winter break.
In a report on the internet, website F1editorial.com (who incidentally think that Christian Klien is the team principal) say that German newspaper Kronen Zeitung suggests that Klien, Monteiro, Yamamoto, Lewis Hamilton and Gary Paffett are all invited to test with the team in Jerez next January.
Other names given by the paper are those of the 2006 test drivers Winkelhock, Sutil, Mondini, Premat and Viso. The paper concedes however that the seat is likely to go to the driver that's able to match their talent with sponsorship
