Rumour abounds at Spa around possible driver changes for the next race at the Italian Grand Prix. Luca Badoer has underperformed at Ferrari in the last two races that he's deputized for the injured Felippe Massa.
So far (before the race begins), Giancarlo says that it's rumour. Vijay has also told the press that Ferrari haven't contacted him so the rumour is just that.
If there is any truth in the rumour then perhaps Ferrari want to wait to see how the race pans out and to see where Fisi finishes.
As the BBC pointed out in their build up to the race. How long would it take for his brain to compute the word Yes if they did come knocking.

As of the post-race F1 Forum, both Giancarlo and his manager (Enrico Zanarini) were still claiming that Ferrari haven't called. If they still haven't called in 24 hours' time or so, I will be wondering whether Ferrari's driver selectors are even paying attention to F1 any more...
even if they come, and though its every italian's dream to drive the ferrari, why would fisi take the job for a few races??? cuz, what if next year massa is back and kimi stays?
I don't think fisi will agree for a makeshift agreement, at this stage, when he is all set at FI.

The deal is already done.
It was fixed during the race: Fisi was faster, he just needed to come a lap later at the last pitstop(as it was supposed).
But Force owns many things to Ferrari and Mallya knows that.
For Fisi was also a little bit frustrating but Ferrari had to win.
He might get the reward...which might be tricky.
Question: why doesn't Force contest Raikkonen's gains from the first chicane when he took clear advantage without being punished?
Answer: it's all about the money...

Not an issue over Kimi's track position really for FI. Fisi was ahead at that point and lets face it, with that 80hp power boost, he wasn't going to stay there for long. It would have been up to the other teams to lodge a complaint and for the stewards to rule, however they can use the excuse that they were avoiding trouble. I'd take more issue with the off at pouhon. He was off the track with all wheels and still kept his place, just like Hamilton in France a few years back.
