Midland F1 Racing will formally launch their first Grand Prix car on 1 February 2006 (in 76 days), according to a countdown timer on the official MF1 Racing website.
There has been no fanfare from the team as yet, but the countdown timer has started and will continue to tick until the team are ready to unveil the car to an eager press.
Russian billionaire Alex Schnaider debuted the Jordan EJ15 in a chilly and largely empty Red Square in Moscow earlier this year. Will the M16 be accorded a glitzy showbiz launch or will it be a solo outing at the Silverstone Circuit across from the factory?
The next announcement due from the team is expected to be who has secured the second race seat to partner Dutchman Christijan Albers.
