Christijan Albers did not hold back on his feelings towards the Super Aguri driver Yuji Ide after a first lap incident saw the Dutchman pitched off the Imola circuit and into retirement. Fortunately the race stewards have taken a dim view on Ide's actions in the incident.

Both drivers were called before the stewards after the race where video footage of Ide's accident was reviewed. After also interviewing both men, the stewards decided that the Japanese driver was solely responsible and the FIA have released a statement warning him against causing further incidents.

“The competitor is to be reminded of the possible effect of incurring a second reprimand,” the statement read according to ITV-F1.com.

Despite the reprimand, and being on the receiving end of Albers' tongue, Yuji Ide still claims he was as innocent as Christijan.

“I didn’t think I was pushing too hard at the start, but when I was exiting the second chicane Albers was the one on the racing line and I could not avoid contacting his car,” Ide said.
