Active forum contributor CRX very kindly stepped up to the mike this weekend to provide coverage of the third free practice session in Monaco.Firstly my thanks to him for a superb effort, and congratulations to the team for such a strong showing.

The day started warm in Monaco: Air temperature 23c and 30c in the asphalt. So the conditions were good and got better for MF1 Racing team.

It was a very interesting practice to follow with the team showing a constant improvement along the session. Always on pace right from the start when Tiago Monteiro squeezed into 2nd with 13 cars on track. CA seemed to be struggling at the beginning, maybe still because of yesterday's problem, but then he also managed to show a good and fast rhythm.

The forum was busy during practice and I think Tomahawk.pt made a good and effective resume of what happened:

"MF1 was the team that maked most laps, a total of 52 (26 for TM and 26 for CA for each driver)."

TM did a brilliant job ending up in 14th with a 1:15.809. He gained 1.6sec since Thursday.

CA even gained more time, an impressing 2.4sec! He ended up in 15th, right behind Monteiro with a 1:16.066.

From this session we can expect to be in the 2nd qualifying session, unless another mysterious red light happens and ruins our boys chances!.

JooAfonso also made a good point: "Jordan's best time last year was 1:19.034!!! Talk about improving!". I can't help but agree.

Tiago and Albers finished ahead of Liuzzi, Speed, Villeneuve, Trulli, Sato, R.Schumacher and Montagny.
