As the test and reserve driver of the BMW Sauber F1 Team, Robert Kubica is particularly aware of the importance of teamwork, as he supports Nick Heidfeld and Jacques Villeneuve with vital test and set-up work. The Pole, however, knows that success is not dependent on the three drivers alone. More than 600 people work in Munich and in Hinwil to help the BMW Sauber F1 Team achieve a successful season. Perfect team play is the basic requirement for the battle for World Championship points. Robert confirms: "Teamwork is very important if you want to be champions and become successful. You cannot forget about the people in Munich and Hinwil who are working really hard every day to develop the car and make it quicker."

Over the course of its maiden season, the BMW Sauber F1 Team already showed a lot of progress and managed to collect 20 World Championship points. The positive development is the result of a good team performance. "All these people have to get to know each other better and that is what is happening now," Robert reports. "I am happy I can be a part of this team as everybody is pushing really hard to do a good job and we can see the car is getting better and better."
