Kubica admitted: Yes we're happy with today. Looking at the situation, some teams are very strong, Brawn and Toyota are both strong. I was not running KERS, I think that was an advantage. I did good in quali 2 which helped to quali 3, we were confident in quali 3 but unfortunately on the last run Nico went wide which put dust on track which went over my tyres. But Brawn was impossible to catch Mario Theissen said too: Nick's problem wasn't linked with KERS. His car was faster thanks to the system, because he's still able to get the optimal balance of the car. In Robert's case the car without hybrid was faster. If you compare Robert's and Nick's laptimes, their pace was similar till last 3 corners. Nick just messed it up. He didn't get it right. That's why he didn't get to Q3."

"4th place is more than we expected. Credits to Robert. He made much effort. He told me that his lap wasn't perfect but we still were able to take second row on the grid. After we saw laptimes of other teams in practices, we expected worse results in quali".
