Day 2 at Jerez for BMW Sauber: Nick joins Kubica

Heidfeld replaced Vettel today, and joined Kubica at Jerez. Today it was a less problematic day for the Team, and both drivers were able to complete many laps, collecting very useful data.

Day two – Wednesday
 
    
Programme:   As it was Nick’s first day on this track in the new car he started working on the set-up. He then did aerodynamic comparisons and systems checks. In addition, he tested different brake coolings. Robert did a set-up scan in the morning and continued with an aerodynamic evaluation. He also compared different mechanical components and completed his programme by doing long-runs. Overall, it was a very productive day for the team.

What comes next:   Tomorrow, Nick will continue working on his programme, while Timo Glock will take over from Robert and will have his first run in the F1.07.
