The continuous rain at Barcelona hampered the testing running, so the teams decided to extend the testing programme for another day. This was the second day for Nick Heidfeld, who will be replaced tomorrow by Robert Kubica.

Day two – Tuesday
Programme: With rain for the entire day the amount of running was restricted. The team went out in the afternoon and Nick was able to check the balance of the car in the wet conditions. He also did some systems checking.

What comes next: Robert Kubica will take over the driving duties for the next two days – the team has decided to extend their test for an extra day due to the small amount of running achieved today. Weather permitting, Robert will do race preparation work for next week, and also try some new parts on the car.
