For the first time this season, a Formula One Grand Prix will be held on North American soil, this weekend. For the European BMW Sauber F1 Team supporters, this means that they can watch the achievements of their favourite team at prime time. Here, you can read when the practice sessions, qualifying and race will be covered on TV. Only a small number of European Formula One enthusiasts will have the chance of being on site when the BMW Sauber F1 Team battles it out for fast lap times, at Montreal's 'Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.' Still, the six-hour time difference has got what it takes to compensate for this frustrating situation. After all, the second free practice session, qualifying and race will be held at TV prime time.

The sixth race weekend of the year will be kicked off - as usual - with the first free practice session, held at 10.00hrs local time (15.00hrs BST). Four hours later, at 19.00hours BST, the second 90-minute session will be started. Following the third free practice session held on Saturday morning, the qualifying session (from 13.00hrs local time, 18.00hrs BST) will offer Nick Heidfeld and Robert Kubica the opportunity to fight for good grid positions. The highlight of the weekend, however, the race, is contested on Sunday, at 13.00hrs local time (18.00hrs BST).
